Irlam Gateway Service Station, Irlam, Salford, Greater Manchester
The Kay Group continues to invest heavily into the petroleum retailing industry and is proud to support the industry’s wellbeing to the public with outstanding services, facilities, staff presentation and customer service.
Irlam Gateway is the third of a rolling program of new-to-industry sites and the groups sixth development in a little over two years. The development started on the completion of Crewe Gateway and will open in May 2017.
A complicated acquisition that started in December 2012 due to its unique location, lack of services and utilities to link in to and other third party issues with the National Grid, culminating in a long, protracted pre-planning application and full planning approval process, eventually secured under a deferred approval.
This is group’s largest development to date on a 1.6 acre plot, situated at the bull nose of a gyratory roundabout, straddling Caddishead Way and Liverpool Road, Irlam.
Due to its location it will have two shop fronts and as a result we have designed a unique gull wing building. Texaco, Spar and Greggs will be our retailing partners with an enhanced twenty two seater café.
Advertising consent has been given to include two Oil Company pole signs, two five metre Kay Group pole signs and branded illuminated signs to all four building elevations.
